For your Library Of Things

Whatever you lend, we can help.

The Lend Engine software platform was built specially to help community organisations that lend things. Our features are designed to make it simple to set up and manage a Library Of Things.

An easy to use loan system

Create a loan for a member in just a few clicks using the admin system, or allow members to borrow items themselves using the self-serve member portal.

Check in and check out, extend dates, add notes ... and more.

A website for your Things

Lend Engine provides a modern, fast, online catalogue so that people can see all your items. Members can place reservations, borrow items, add credit, and see their borrowing history.

Embeddable within your Library Of Things website, too.

Item & inventory management

Lend Engine makes it easy to tell where your items are at any moment in time, who has things on loan, and when they are due back. Add custom fields and attach files for a rich database of Things.

Manage repairs, cleaning and costs

Assign items to team members for repair or cleaning. Track item locations, and create reserved locations for items under repair or due to be checked before re-lending. Add notes and costs to keep a record of everything.

Automated emails & reminders

Lend Engine sends loan reminders automatically, and keeps your members in the loop with all the information they need as you check out items, extend loans, add fees...

Contact & member management

Keep a record of all your members and associates, extend using custom fields, attach files, upload ID. Lend Engine can also sync your member information automatically with Mailchimp.

Share information with your team

The Lend Engine lets you store data about your items in an easy to access format, so that your team, your volunteers and your members have all the information they need.

Fees & Payments

If you need, you can charge loan fees, daily fees and apply fines. Manage member account balances, and produce useful reports. Integrated card payments via Stripe.com.

And this is only just the start ...
